Biu Ji with Si Fu : Trip with Si Fu part 2

(From left to right: Rodrigo Moreira, Si Fu and I in Sao Paulo)

Years and years ago I watched "Mad Max 2" with Mel Gibson (The real Mad Max!). If not mistaken, the one who tells all Max adventure in this sequence, is a strange boy with a Boomerang living in a city surrounded in Wasteland. Max (Mel Gibson), says nothing about his experience at that breakneck escape with the truck, but the boy tells the passage he had with the antihero.
Today, I will be the "Boomerang Boy" who will tell the passage I had with my younger  Kung Fu brother (Si Dai), Rodrigo Moreira "Moy Mo Lei". A disciple of Si Fu like me. And  as I was also  with him on the trip to São Paulo, where there would be meetings of the Masters Council and the anniversary of Si Taai.
A very well dressed Rodrigo appearing in the photo above, is currently having access to Domain Biu Ji. And I can say that in all these years of Kung Fu Family, I never witnessed someone "breathe Biu Ji" as in this trip ... I think Rodrigo will never forget it ...
(Thats me and Rodrigo hanging out in Sao Paulo in the early 2000's)

Eu ainda conhecia bem a cidade naquela época e sabia me virar.

I studied with Rodrigo throughout college, and to talk to the young Rodrigo Moreira in the first half of the 2000s was sure to hear two things: The time he ate a pasta with the first Si Fu with whom he had contact. And when he traveled to Disney and the dollar was "1 to 1" with brazilian money.
We traveled together a few times, and one of them hanging out by Sao Paulo city (photo), and the opportunity had not much to worry about. I still knew the city at that time and I could stay cool. We stayed in the house of an aunt of mine and get lost or go through times of pressure was not something that went through our head.

Many years passed before we sit together in the Si Fu's car that Friday towards São Paulo. We had tried to anticipate everything that was possible. For this time, "pressure" and "get lost" were two very present possibilities.
After turn on the car and ride a few meters further in Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, Rodrigo turned  his GPS app on. Si Fu said: "Do not need that. Just when we arrive at the end of Dom Pedro Road I'll need ...." - The hours spent flying, but our car not so much. Especially when I decided to drive 80 km / h in Dutra Road  as Si Fu slept. What made us lose a good time.
We talk about Asimov, Lord of the Rings and Rodrigo could show Si Fu all his literary knowledge in the first part of the journey ...
At the first stop, Si Fu dedicated a time to Rodrigo in particular, asking questions about science, Rodrigo labor camp ...
Everything was going well, but few realized the bad omen of the cereal bar!
(Rodrigo e Si Fu no último café-da-manhã antes de pegarmos a estrada de volta)
(Rodrigo and Si Fu during the last breakfast before hit the road back home)

O clima mudou no carro...
Acabamos errando o caminho, e errando novamente...

Rodrigo and I made a mess during the purchase of a cereal bar. It was the first reprimand that he took on the trip. The energy has changed in the car ... The attention level rose, but not enough, for the moment after his order still in Barra neighborhood hours before, Si Fu remembered Rodrigo, we were already at the end of Dom Pedro Road and a fork approached meter by meter: "For which side do we go Rodrigo?" - That would be a sentence that would hear for many times ...
Just missing the way, and missing again ... For my part, I did not know what to do! I realized that this was the time to Rodrigo, but at the same time the Meeting of the Seniors Masters Council at Si Gung's house was already beginning- "Should I help?" - I have not had much time to think, because Si Fu braked sharply in the road side, and energy in his voice drew attention to what had just happened: We miss the entrance to jump and were heading to Sao Paulo ...

The GPS app went off the air, Si Fu drew attention after an error sequence so that Rodrigo anticipate the route before this happened. We make mistakes until we got to the hotel ... We marked with Si Fu a time in the lobby and Rodrigo as well as me and my To Dai we shared a room, take a shower and packed up to go to Si Gung's house "to say hi"to him and the Si Taai.
As we enter the car, it seemed Rodrigo was more prepared. Si Fu was "nice" again (take this as you want..lol) and decided to make a quick feedback on what had happened. Unfortunately Si Fu did not have time for that, Rodrigo was still unsure without the GPS function, and took us out of Jump! We were on the freeway again !!! And it takes more Biu Ji !! - "Right or left Right ??!! Right or left Rodrigo??" - "Si Fu ... I ..." - "Right or left? !!!" ...
(Dinner at the hotel after let Si Fu at Si Gung´s place on day one)

-"Conquista Desbloqueada"....

We left Si Fu in Si Gung's house, gave him a hug and all present and back to the hotel. Si Fu offered the car ... We better get a taxi! Si Gung showed us how to go to a Shopping in next city, but we were unanimous in returning to the hotel and rethink everything, prepare the next day ... etc ... By the time we got off the car, Rodrigo had a black cloud in the head . The ever talkative Kung Fu brother was serious as I had never seen ... But to my surprise, to sit in the hotel restaurant and talk  about everything, his smile was back, and realized that Rodrigo had level up in the Biu Ji that moment ... - "Achievement Unlocked" ....

Many of the things that happened on this trip with Rodrigo (photo above) are very particular to write here ... Others would not even know how to do it. Apart from these, a large portion neither I nor anyone else had access ... But of course errors seen anyone grow before my own eyes. I had to hold me not to interfere. Other times, Si Fu asked not to meddle ... All this, so that Rodrigo had his complete experience that Si Fu would comment last night: "The relationship Si Fu - To Dai is not always that way ..." - said Si Fu, referring to the amount of pressure. At another point he also said: "No problem ...  The problem is to keep repeating the same mistake ...."
(Rodrigo using his cell phone, wich has a bad GPS system, lol, during
Si Taai´s b-day celeb. When he helpped others to get all the money to pay the bill)

- "Rodrigo... Rodrigo me responde!

About Si Fu, I saw incredible things from him. How can someone go so deep in a situation just to the other has the experience ... - "... Rodrigo! Rodrigo! Answer me We are on the path of Marginal Pinheiros Road If I follow here I go out on the Marginal Pinheiros Rodrigo!?" - Si Fu wondered on that Sunday morning to Rodrigo who was in the back seat insisting on looking at the GPS stubbornly refused to work ... Meanwhile, I saw signs and more signs indicating to turn right in order to take the Marginal Pinheiros . Si Fu followed right by all of them asking: "Rodrigo?" - "Yes Si Fu ! We can  go straight!" - And there were we to lose us again ...

(Walking with the Masters. I and Rodrigo accompanying them.)

Particularly, the moment I realized I would return to Rio with a different Rodrigo  from what had embarked with me on Friday. That's when at 2 am, a meeting inside the hotel (or something of that sort) where we stayed in the last night, Si Fu held a meeting to reflect on everything ... He asked me to comment on what was perceived on Rodrigo. In doing so, I began to talk staring at the floor of the room. I was sitting on a bed, and Rodrigo right before me sitting on the other. When I raised my eyes, he stared at me a withering look. It was not boredom, anger, or anything like that ... It was just a look. A look, I believe, that would remain even if I give a punch in the face of Rodrigo . He had already been through so much, that something had changed ... But what has changed in fact, even Rodrigo does not know yet ...
