Last week took place in Rio de Janeiro an event that will be stored in the hearts of all of us who partake of it. An event that started well before, and that during already left longing ...
Last week we received the Master Senior Leo Imamura, and a crossover of Seniors Masters and Qualified Masters from various parts of Brazil and the world, for the annual visit of the Clan Leader to Rio de Janeiro and also because of his birthday, the peak time of these four days.
We started with the Council of Masters on Thursday in Barra da Tijuca School, and thanks to the efforts of Thiago Silva and other Kung Fu brothers as Marcelo Ormond, the Mo Gun was ready to receive this annual meeting, a kind of "Jedi Council" of Moy Yat Ving Tsun.
Thanks to Rodrigo Moreira and Andre Almeida who took care of Meier School in my absence, I could be with Silva all day at MYVT Barra School watching the unfolding of this meeting.
It was Very interesting to see how Si Gung needed to have very Kung Fu to orchestrate opinions, positions and ideas of each present Master, as these people have a lot of experience and an average journey of 20 years of Kung Fu each. Si Gung had to do it all without losing his leadership, but without imposing anything, about the issues for the year 2015 which needed to be seen.
However, of all the issues that were addressed at that Thursday, for me without doubt was the knowledge that we have on 28 August the FIRST QUALIFIED MASTERS CEREMONY OF TWELFTH GENERATION OF BRAZIL.
When Si Fu cited the names, all the Masters present accepted after Si Gung ask the Council what they thought.
The first Masters from the Twelfth Generation will be 3. Two will be titrated in August and the third date to be confirmed.
In the next few posts I'll talk more about these people.
The day ended after midnight. Thiago Silva was the last to leave the Mo Gun. And with so many news and impactful resolutions for this year's event promised from the beginning ...
