Brazilian Artist inspired in Chinese painting style (Artista Brasileiro se inspira no estilo chinês)

Se você respondeu "por um brasileiro", acertou! Ela faz parte da mostra das obras de Alberto da Veiga Guignard que, que começou em 11 de novembro, no Museu de Arte do Rio.
Nessa mostra é apresentada a  relação do artista com a estética chinesa.
"Guignard e o Oriente, entre o Rio e Minas" mostra como a trajetória do artista e sua contribuição para a arte moderna brasileira passa por essas referências gráficas da China. A curadoria é de Priscila Freire, Marcelo Campos e Paulo Herkenhoff.

If you answered "by a Brazilian", you´re right! It is part of the exhibition of the works of Alberto da Veiga Guignard that began on November 11, at the Art Museum of Rio.
This shows the artist's relationship with the Chinese aesthetic .
"Guignard and the East, between Rio and Minas" shows how the trajectory of the artist and his contribution to modern Brazilian art goes through these graphic references of China. The curator is Priscilla Freire, Marcelo Campos and Paulo Herkenhoff.

Nas palavras de um dos curadores: "Enquanto grande parte dos artistas modernos do país cultivou um diálogo com referências do Japão, Guignard mostrou-se prolífico em conceber sua obra a partir da interlocução com a arte chinesa, entrecruzada com a estética colonial que marca seu lugar de atuação, Minas Gerais, bem como sua formação sensível, igualmente interpelada pela paisagem do Rio de Janeiro. Sua obra foi capaz de acionar e harmonizar sistemas pictóricos díspares no tempo e no espaço, configurando uma importante contribuição para o pensamento moderno brasileiro ao fazer-se ao mesmo tempo local e plural".

In the words of one of the curators: "While much of modern country artists cultivated a dialogue with references from Japan, Guignard proved prolific in conceiving his work from the dialogue with the Chinese, crisscrossed with colonial art aesthetic that marks his place of performance, Minas Gerais, as well as his sensitive training also challenged by the landscape of Rio de Janeiro. his work was able to activate and harmonize disparate pictorial systems in time and space, setting an important contribution to Brazilian modern thinking to do whilst at the same local time and  plural ".
