I Ving Tsun Senior Master Promotion in Brazil [ I PROMOÇÃO DE MESTRES PARA A CLASSE MESTRE SENIOR EM TERRITÓRIO NACIONAL]

(Com minha única nota de 1 real no bolso, todo o dinheiro que tinha para o final de semana do evento, fui chamado ao palco do show do ilusionista Issao Imamura, e ele fez a nota de 1 real virar uma de 10)

Enquanto Antônio Eduardo tomava banho me deu muita sede. Tínhamos um frigobar no quarto, mas eu tinha apenas uma nota de 1 real no bolso. Incrível mas verdade. Até chegar em casa na noite do dia seguinte, era tudo que tinha. Mas por alguma razão, guardei no bolso do smoking.
Desci sozinho até o saguão do hotel, e caminhei para o salão onde aconteceria o evento. As pessoas estavam paradas na entrada batendo fotos. Muitas pessoas já estavam lá. E junto de dois Si Sok que estão afastados da Família atualmente, usando minha máquina analógica com 36 poses, fomos atrás dos dignitários presentes e batemos muitas fotos, sempre torcendo para que quando fossemos revelar, as mesmas não tivessem queimado.
Naquela noite, Si Fu ganhou o seu Jiu Paai junto de seus Si Hing. Quatro deles.  Por razões pessoais, hoje quatro deles continuam ativos no Clã. Mas naquele momento não tinha como saber disso. Naquele momento eu mal compreendia o que aquele momento significava. 
Mas de alguma forma, sabia o quanto era importante. 
Tirei muitas fotos sem sentido e outras memoráveis durante os dois dias, mas guardei todas com carinho.  Minha querida amiga de faculdade Carolina Pita, hoje já casada. Estava bem ansiosa para ver o que tinha ocorrido na viagem. Assim, na Quarta 19 de Março, após ter as fotos reveladas, voltávamos da faculdade pra casa, mostrei as fotos para ela no 636. Senti que ela se decepcionou um pouco pois esperava me ver em poses de luta ou algo assim.. Mas como falar pra ela a importância daquele momento?

It was a Saturday night, March 15, 2003 I had just put my tuxedo rented in Madureira, North Zone of Rio, the same store all Kung Fu brothers rented after another masterful negotiation of Si Sok Ursula.

I went down alone into the lobby of the HOTEL and walked to the hall where the event happen. People were standing at the entrance snapping photos. Many people were already there. And with two Si Sok who are away from familyn now using my analog machine with 36 poses film, we went behind the dignitaries present and hit lots of pictures.
That night, Si Fu earned his Jiu paai with his Si Hing. Four of them. For personal reasons, four of whom are still active today in the Clan. But at that time had no way of knowing that. At that time I barely understood what that moment meant. 
But somehow, I knew how important it was.

A importância de alguns momentos não é devidamente percebida por muitos quando acontecem. Mas aprendemos com o tempo na Família Kung Fu, que em certas ocasiões você simplesmente sente a necessidade de estar presente do início ao fim, pois lá na frente, você poderá dizer que fez parte daquilo.

Este evento teve vários momentos, desde o comunicado a Si Fu, até que ele se realizasse. Para nós, de forma visível, começou a acontecer quando fizemos a primeira visita ao hotel onde se daria o evento.
O dia estava chuvoso e quase desistirmos de ir, mas na companhia de Rodrigo Moreira e Thiago Silva, eu e Si Fu fomos até o hotel em seu carro.
Para mim foi particularmente especial pois me remeteu à época da Paula Gama, minha Si Mui (irmão Kung Fu mais nova) que nos levava sempre em seu imenso carro para ver hotéis, e este tipo de coisas...  Foi uma tarde importante...

De repente, o dia já havia chegado. A exemplo do ocorrido na Argentina, no dia 8 de agosto, a segunda cerimônia de Promoção da MYVTMI para Classe Mestre Sênior ocorreu no dia 6 de setembro, sendo a primeira promoção desta natureza ocorrida no Brasil. A cidade eleita foi o Rio de Janeiro.
Os líderes do Clã Moy Yat Sang, Mestre Leo Imamura e Vanise Imamura, dirigiram a cerimônia que contou com centenas de membros, vindos de Buenos Aires - ARG, Brasília, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte e, claro, dos anfitriões Rio de Janeiro.
“Mestre Sênior” é a classe outorgada ao membro da Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence de categoria “Membro de Nivel Superior Final”, já certificado como ‘Mestre Qualificado’.

Suddenly, the day had arrived. As occurred in Argentina, on August 8, the second ceremony of Promotion to Senior Master Class by MYVTMI took place on September 6, the first promotion of this nature occurred in Brazil. The city elected was Rio de Janeiro.
Leaders of  Moy Yat Sang Clan, Master Leo Imamura and Mrs. Vanise Imamura, led the ceremony which was attended by hundreds of members, coming from Buenos Aires - ARG, Brasilia, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte and of course the hosts from Rio de Janeiro. 
"Senior Master" is the class given to the member of Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence who is a member of the class of 'Qualified Master'.

O salão estava lotado. Praticantes de vários Núcleos do Brasil estavam presentes. Muitos deles para prestigiarem seus Mestres que seriam promovidos naquela noite. Onze anos haviam se passado desde aquela noite em 2003 quando só tinha R$ 1 real no bolso. Desta vez, me senti feliz por ter ajudado aquilo acontecer minimamente.

Já sua filha mais velha Jade, estava se sentindo muito mal, mas fez questão de estar presente e assistia aos passos de Si Fu ao lado de sua avó, Sra Vera Camacho e seu amigo de escola.

No mesmo quadro ainda encontrávamos uma dedicatória personalizada para cada recebedor da honraria. E por ultimo, particurlamente o elemento de legitimidade que mais gostei! Um novo modelo de Jiu Paai com os ideogramas em alto-relevo, bem como a Moy Fah (flor de ameixa) , contrastando com a versão dada aos Mestres Qualificados que é em baixo relevo.

Todos os Elementos são obras de arte. Eu preciso dizer isso. Os certificados possuem um dourado que me lembrou a versão especial de luxo do livro Senhor dos Anéis que vinha com letras élficas no rodapé das páginas. E as próprias páginas imitavam ouro.

Apesar de saber que Si Sok Flavio Caxiano, que estava adoentado naquela noite, é o único responsável por tão maravilhoso trabalho fazendo os certificados. Eu preferi fingir que foram feitos por Feanor “Espírito de Fogo”, ou Trandhuil ou Galadriel. É mais legal assim.

Segundo Si Gung, os quadros com os carimbos dos Kuen Kuit representam a plenitude da autorização do líder do Grande Clã Moy Yat Sang, aos Mestres de fundarem seu próprio Clã.
 Porém , realmente dentre todos os símbolos de legitimidade, meu preferido é o Jiu Paai.

Ao dar carona ao Si Sok Rodrigo Giarola naquela manhã, tive a oportunidade de fazer-lhe uma série de perguntas sobre a confecção de tal obra de arte. Com muito bom humor, Si Sok compartilhou o que deveria ser compartilhado.
Ele por exemplo falou sobre o fato de que pela primeira vez , Si gung havia lhe pedido peças com os ideogramas em alto relevo. O oposto do que vinha fazendo até então com as placas dos Mestres Qualificados.
Si Sok também falou, que uma das grandes dificuldades é o fato de que não são apenas ideogramas aleatórios, mas sim, uma reprodução que busca a fidelidade da caligrafia de Si Taai Gung Moy Yat.
Fiz uma pergunta um tanto óbvia a ele : “E quando você erra ?” .Ele respondeu que a placa precisa ser jogada fora ou....  Bom, nessa segunda alternativa, digamos que ele respondeu com muito bom humor..rs

Si Baak Renato Almeida(foto), é irmão de Si Taai Vanise Imamura e membro mais antigo em atividade do Clã Moy Yat Sang.
Ele reside nos EUA e em seu discurso falou sobre a importância da organização em sociedade, ao ter sobrevoado vários países em seu caminho até o Brasil. Ele também falou da felicidade em estar presente naquela Cerimônia, com pessoas que muitas vezes, nunca o tinham visto pessoalmente.

Si Baak Renato Almeida(photo), is the brother of Si Taai Vanise Imamura and oldest member in the Clan Moy Yat Sang in activity. 
He resides in the USA and in his speech spoke about the importance of organization in society, having flown several countries on his way to Brazil. He also spoke of the happiness to be present at that ceremony, with people who often had never seen in person.

Já Si Baak Nataniel quando foi ao microfone, emocionou muito a todos ao falar de seus pais quase chorando, pois sem eles e o apoio de sua esposa Patricia, talvez aquele momento não seria possível.
Mais tarde, Si Gung se apoiaria nisso para falar da importância de quem atua no “invisível” em nossas vidas para que alcancemos nossos objetivos. Pessoas que cuidam de nós sem que ao menos saibamos.

Após a foto oficial do evento, os convidados rumaram para o restaurante, no qual duas salas haviam sido previamente reservadas pelo meu Si Dai Thiago Silva.
Outros membros ficaram no salão ajudando a arrumá-lo, e outros mais, carregavam o material necessário do salão Jade para o restaurante.

Havia obviamente a mesa principal para Mestres, esposas e parentes, e as demais mesas. Assim que o jantar foi servido, todos foram preparar seus pratos. Após algum tempo, fui até a mesa do meu Si Hing Leonardo Reis, discípulo de Si Fu Julio Camacho assim como eu. E pedi que fosse o cerimonialista do jantar. Ele aceitou sem nem mesmo saber o que era esperado. Começamos com um brinde pedido por ele de pé no salão principal, e na sequência, ele convidou a todos para assistirem o último vídeo produzido pela “Moy Fat Lei Imagination Team”, com a ajuda de membros do Clã, que homenageava cada promovente naquela noite contando sua história.

Após a exibição do vídeo, Si Hing Leo convidou aqueles que desejassem a falar algumas palavras sobre os Mestres que ali estavam.

We begin with a toast asked by him standing in the main hall, and following, he invited everyone to watch the last video produced by "Moy Fat Lei Imagination Team"(will be translated soon), with the help of clan members, honoring each Master promoted that night telling his story.

Muito foi dito ao microfone, inclusive por mim.  E todos ouviam atentamente. Da Família Moy Jo Lei Ou, Guilherme foi um dos que falaram algumas palavras. Por sua convivência tão intensa com Si Fu, ele sempre fala com muita profundidade nesses momentos, e de um jeito ou de outro, sua lealdade e admiração por Si Fu sempre ficam evidentes.

O que particularmente me deixa muito feliz, porque gosto muito dele.
A noite se encerrou formalmente, com o convite de Si Gung para que os discípulos pudessem tirar fotos com ele e seus respectivos Si fu com alta-resolução num estúdio improvisado que foi montado.

Após deixar minha namorada e sua irmã em casa, voltei sozinho no carro por volta de 2:30h da manhã de Rocha Miranda para Jacarepaguá.  Porém, antes de fazê-lo, dei uma volta pelo bairro e me veio à cabeça a musica “Madness At All” . Coloquei pra tocar, e muita coisa me veio a cabeça:
Não sabia o que pensar exatamente sobre a importância daquela Cerimônia. Acredito que assim como Si Sok Leonardo Mordente disse certa vez: Não se pode considerar um momento como “Histórico” antes que ele aconteça. Naquele momento no carro, pensei que talvez, mesmo depois de um momento assim acontecer, demore um certo tempo para que fique claro o que se deu.
Mal percebi quando a música mudou para o tema de Sonny Crocket também trilha de Miami Vice...
Olhei para meu relógio e percebi que já era tarde para estar rodando por ali, mesmo que fossem lugares conhecidos por mim desde a infância.
De toda a forma, fiquei feliz por ter estado naquela Cerimônia....  Fiz o retorno e peguei a estrada que me levaria a Jacarepaguá ...

I said Goodbye to all present there. And man: That took some time! 
After leaving my girlfriend and her sister at home, I returned alone in the car around 2: 30h in the Morning from Rocha Miranda(north zone) to Jacarepagua (West Zone). However, before doing so, I drive around the neighborhood and  came to my head the song "Madness At All" . I put it to play, and a lot came to my head: 
Did not know exactly what to think about the importance of that ceremony. I believe that as Si Sok Leonardo Mordente once said: You can not consider a time like "History" before it happens. At that moment in the car, I thought maybe, even after such a moment happen, takes a little time to turn clear to yourself the importance of it. 
I Barely noticed when the music changed to the Sonny Crocket theme from Miami Vice soundtrack ... I looked at my watch and realized it was too late to be driving around, even if were places known to me since childhood. 
In any case, I was happy to have been in that ceremony .... I did return and took the road that would lead me to Jacarepagua neighborhood where I live ...
